Week 8 of the League of Legends Spring Splits 2019 (LEC 2019) will start soon! As always, the eSport remains exciting until the last minute and we once again witnessed breathtaking team fights in the middle of the table last week. The European LoL table leads G2 Esports ironcladly, currently with 12 wins. But also Fnatic scored twice in the last week and currently has his playoff place already secured. We can expect a lot of dynamism especially in the middle of the table, as 4 teams are on 7 wins.

At the lower half of the table there was not much more movement, actually. Rogue is still on 2 wins and has given up all ambitions for the Spring Split. Excel Esports is sitting only one point above and has no more chances for a playoff seed, as well. Technically the LEC week 8 promises many exciting games and emotions in Berlin. Schedule and Results – 2019 LEC Spring Split Week 6

  • What awaits us on day one? Our king G2 Esports will face Splyce on the first day, who will be able to defend themselves against one or two strategies from G2. Schalke 04 will be easily able to score points in the match against Excel and Vitality can also be happy about one more point, because the team has to play against Rogue (last team in standings). For all Fnatic fans: You have to wait until 22.00 o'clock – there the Fnatics will encounter Misfits.
  • What awaits us on day 2? Many exciting encounters, that's all I have to say. The second encounter of Misfits against Schalke! Team Vitality has to play against the king G2 and live betting friends could have a chance to win the big prize. Fnatic will also have an easy game as they have to play against Excel Esports.

Betting Odds Comparison* – What is your favorite team?

Week 8 of the European League of Legends Spring Championships has many good betting opportunities. We recommend live betting on favorite games, as the profit can become much higher as with a prematch bet. On the other hand for the games in the middle of the table (FNC, Schalke, Origen, SK and Misfits) it's worth betting with Prematch-Bets, on whose favourites you want to bet. We are also happy to recommend our prediction to you. Good luck in week 8!

LEC Spring Split 2019 Week 8 – Day 1

Match #1:Splyce League of Legends LoL Team Logo  SPY vs. G2 G2 Esports League of Legends LoL Team Logo

8. March, 09:00 AM PT / 12:00 PM ET / 18:00 CEST

The opening game of the eighth week will be played by Splyce against G2 Esports. Both teams last met in week 3, in which G2 Splyce suffered a heavy defeat. G2-Perkz has blown the damage frame completely on his Lucian with 10/3/13. A painful memory, which also brings the bookmakers to painful odds. Splyce (3.00), the bookmakers are of course less confident of victory than G2 Esports (1.33). For all betting fans who still don't want to miss the game, we recommend a live bet, because the story has already proven to us that G2 Esports is anything but unbeatable. Nevertheless, I bet 0:1 for G2 Esports.

Match #2:FC Schalke 04 League of Legends LoL Team Logo S04  vs. XLExcel Esports League of Legends LEC Team Logo

8. March, 10:00 AM PT / 01:00 PM ET / 19:00 CEST

Directly after the opening game Schalke 04 follows against eXcel Esports with the expected high performance. In this game Schalke 04 remains the clear favourite with a quota of 1.28 against XL with 3.5. But also the team of XL Esports can beat a veteran like Schalke 04 with surprising feints. This is also the reason for XL's clearly positive bet factorisation compared to Schalke. Here again the tip: If the Prematch bet gives you a bad feeling in your stomach, it's better to wait for the pick and place some live bets. A lot is frequent and a lot is rare, so my tip is still 0:1 for Schalke 04.

Match #3:Origen League of Legends LEC Team LogoOG  vs.  SK SK Gaming League of Legends LEC Team Logo

8. March,, 11:00 AM PT / 02:00 PM ET / 20:00 CEST

In match three Origen Esports meets SK Gaming and promises full of anticipation again tingling Bot Lane performance with fast Jungler perfomance. As expected, Splyce (1.5) continues to be favored by the bookmakers and puts SK Gaming (2.5) in the slipstream. But anyone who knows the SK Gaming team from the previous season knows that SK Gaming has booked an occasional subscription with Fortuna, the goddess of luck (paired with good team coordination, of course). If you take a look at the gamers' cameras from time to time, you can anticipate when the next Deep Ward Gank of the toplane of SK Werlyb is to be expected. But what is a good, but occasional Top Lane Gank compared to OG Mithy as a sovereign supporter, who simply knows how to support his own team in almost every situation with his perfect performance? Especially this prominent support player shows the LOL community how important (unfortunately often not considered) a tactically skilled supporter is behind the teamfight. Therefore my recommendation: 0:1 for Origen Esports with an outstanding Mithy performance.

Match #4: RGE Rogue League of Lgends LEC Team Logo  vs. VIT Team Vitality League of Legends LEC Team Logo

8. March,, 12:00 PM PT / 03:00 PM ET / 21:00 CEST

In this match Rouge Esports meets Team Vitality. The odds clearly stand for Vitality (1.16) versus Rouge (4.5) and are therefore suitable for smaller high risk bets (note the profit margin for Rouge!). Unfortunately Rouge cannot convince this season playfully and shines rather with Troll Equip (see Alistair Equip last game) than with the will to win. My tip 0:1 for Vitality Esports.

Match #5:   Fnatic League of Legends LoL Team Logo FNC vs. MSFMisfits League of Legends LoL Team Logo

8. March,, 01:00 PM PT / 04:00 PM ET / 22:00 CEST

The best comes at the end (from day 1)! The Taifun Fnatic meet the giants of Misfits and delight the audience with breathtaking team fights and mostly new tactical finesse. Due to their playful heterogeneity the odds at Fnatic (1.61) are slightly inferior to Misfit (2.20). To underestimate Fnatics in this matchup, however, would not be recommendable in my opinion, since they have so far shown a sovereign performance with a well competition balance (W7/L7). And let's be honest: The kills of ADC Fn Rekkles are as artistically sublime as Jhin's metaphors. But odds of winning bets are unfortunately based on win/loss statistics and not on the volume of applause. The starsigns are currently better for misfits due to their convincing game dynamics and aggressiveness, so I'm guessing 0:1 for misfits.

Who is going to win?

LEC Spring Split 2019 – Week 8 | Day 2

Match #1: Misfits League of Legends LoL Team LogoMSF vs. S04FC Schalke 04 League of Legends LoL Team Logo

9. March, 08:00 AM PT / 11:00 AM ET / 17:00 CEST

On day two the opponents Misfits Esports meet first against Schalke 04 and bring the heart rate and the blood pressure into the working mode. If you can sit still during this game, you will probably just read the rules of the game again… A very interesting game not only from a betting point of view! Because of their complementary game strategy and their balanced appearance, you can't name a clear favorite. According to the average odds, Misfits is 1.8 while Schalke 04 is slightly higher by a factor of 1.9. My tip: If you dont feel comfortable with none of the teams in a pregame bet, rather bet on live bets and wait for a wrong pick or judge by Objective Rate (Tower, CS, Stats Minute 10)! Since Schalke 04 has an impressive potential as a newer Team Up, I'm guessing a close 0:1 for Schalke 04.

Match #2: Splyce League of Legends LoL Team Logo SPY   vs. SKSK Gaming League of Legends LEC Team Logo

9. March, 09:00 AM PT / 12:00 PM ET / 18:00 CEST

Here SK Gaming (2.37) meets Splyce Esport (1.53). The average odds here are due to the clear gradient in the ranking and invite more risky players to the underdog bet. My tip: Play it safe anyway! 0:1 for Splyce Esport

Match #3: Excel Esports League of Legends LEC Team Logo XL vs. FNC Fnatic League of Legends LoL Team Logo

9. March, 10:00 AM PT / 01:00 PM ET / 19:00 CEST

Matchup three turns out to be a particularly entertaining ensemble. ExceL Esports (2.2) meets the Fnatic (1.61). Why entertaining? Anyone who thinks of the sleepy boxes and number columns on the screen in the office when the name Excel is mentioned will be taught a better lesson by the namesakes in this matchup. XL Midlaner Exile (or Special) create again and again exciting scenes through their high range Poke Champs and bring with one or the other game by targeted Oneshots of opposing players the perhaps long awaited turn. But of course Fnatic can't be disturbed by their many years of experience due to the loss of life points of their Champs. That's why I bet 0:1 for the giants Fnatics!

Match #4: Rogue League of Lgends LEC Team Logo  RGE  vs. OG Origen League of Legends LEC Team Logo

9. March, 11:00 AM PT / 02:00 PM ET / 20:00 CEST

Matchup four presents Rouge Esports (3.00) against Origen (1.36) and will, I think, after an initial probing, offer a lot of quick dives, as Origen believes himself to be in the favourite position. But those who know the LOL Esport scene know, that many thrones have already been fallen by arrogant and reckless game design. Maybe this time too? Or will Rogue disappear into the valley with a self-parody? Nevertheless, I remain profit-oriented and of course bet 0:1 for Origen!

Match #5:  G2 Esports League of Legends LoL Team Logo G2 vs. VITTeam Vitality League of Legends LEC Team Logo

9. March, 12:00 PM PT / 03:00 PM ET / 21:00 CEST

The best comes at the end of day two you can look forward to! The two top teams of the current rankings G2 (1.53) vs. Vitality (2.37) deliver the burning exchange of blows in Berlin this evening and perhaps bring one or the other anticipatory insight into the possible final. You certainly won't be able to see the full performance of both teams, because you don't want to shake your aces out of your sleeve too early. Nevertheless, you will certainly be able to experience one or two tactical refinements in order to test opponent's reactions. A lesson for both teams and for one or the other Low Elo player! My tip: It stays with the favorite with 0:1 for G2.
