Overwatch - Icon Tournament Format

The Overwatch World Cup 2018 features 4 groups with 6 teams each. Each team will play against other teams only once (bringing the total group game count for a single team to 5). After that, the top 2 teams from each group will proceed to the World Cup Top 8 which will be played at BlizzCon The games which come after these will be played in the usual format (Semi-finals and Grand Finals) which isn’t surprising since it’s how most tournaments work. We already have the first group complete with South Korea and Finland going through easily (although Russia was close to advancing), but the other groups haven’t yet started. This will change in 2 weeks time when the second group will begin playing. After that, we’ll have group games each week until they’re all complete.

It might seem confusing at first, mainly because we haven’t had the chance to see how these teams fare against each other, but it might be another South Korea win. After all, they won the World Championships in 2016 and 2017. Although, you shouldn’t make such a quick choice before thinking it through, especially if you're involved in eSports betting. Other teams such as France, Sweden, and Finland will surely put up a fight, just like before. If you’re searching for the best betting odds for this Overwatch World Cup – look no further. Here’s all the info about what the bookies have prepared for this iteration of the Overwatch World Cup.

Betting Odds Comparison

As mentioned before, South Korea is again looking like the favorites and with the biggest chances for success, but it doesn’t mean they’ll have an easy job. Other countries have amazing teams too which are amazingly skilled and it’ll all come down to a couple of factors – team play, overall skill, and the wish to win. Comparing various betting odds is necessary if you want to have a strong opinion on what to do, so that’s why we’ve prepared this comparison for you! Take a look:
